Tom McPeak 22 foot straight truck - USA is my home
I am for hire on Sunday's only. I'm always home on Sunday and my unit is parked at my home in Lima, Ohio. Any loads on this day will be brokered through All Types ® with a 10% mark up to them. E-mail TOMM@eXpeditersNetwork.com my Sunday rate is $1.60 per mile + $50.00 for weekend premium.
As you can see I have a straight truck. I'm displaying both company logo's on my truck and I only show the one that I'm loaded with at the moment and use a magnet to cover up the other company info. since it's not legal to display both at the same time. I suggest if your not satisfied with your current carrier you consider running for two to test the waters to see if the other company can really produce or not. I've heard alot of guys start with a company and it's great until it fizzles out a month or two later but what do you have to loose if you don't improve with the other carrier, but if you never try, you'll never win (hopefully).
I used to run for two companies at time. I only tried this to avoid quiting my current carrier and venturing into a big unknown with All Types ® since I knew nothing about them. I paid double insurances running with them and FedEx ® at the same time, but I felt it was worth the risk since I just wasn't making ends meet like I needed to with Fed Ex ®. I have no team driver and of course have to abide by the log rules or I get my hand slapped by All Types ®. As it turns out, it was a good switch.Fed Ex ® was pretty good, but the methods are considerably different with all Types ® and they are just abetter fit for me. If I ever left, I'd go back to Fed Ex ®, I've tried others and they bottomed out real quick.
I have a quad cab 22 footer. My bunk is D.O.T. approved since it meets the width requirements of 26 inches.
